Catering for the needs of Toddlers At around 18 months toddlers enter the jelly tot unit, when you view nursery you will notice the differences in the lay out, there are more tables and chairs for table top activities, there is a quiet room in which the children can have a nap, but there isn't a separate sleep room.

There is a very large outdoor play area, as children of this age need to run around and have lots of space. This is a very lively unit where the emphasis is on fun and learning through play. Communication with Parents As in the baby unit your input is vital, and the exchange of information will continue but there will be a different emphasis as in this unit the main information you will receive will be on the various activities throughout the day and not so much the sleeps feeds etc.

The excellent staff are again highly trained, and are especially suited and committed to working with this age group.
