Here are some of the good things the reports have to say about Scallywags:

Jelly Babies - "The babies were observed to be content and happy and the interactions between staff and babies were all observed to be positive, with staff displaying a gentle caring manner. It was evident that babies had formed positive attachments to the staff present."

Jelly Tots - "During the day children were provided with a range of activities that they were evidently enjoying, staff were well organised and it was apparent each were enjoying their caring role."

Jelly Beans - "During the inspection children were observed to enjoy the activities offered and staff facilitated a range of learning opportunities. It was evident that staff planned the activities, to meet the individual needs of the children."

Inspectors findings - "It was evident throughout the inspection that the children within all the units were happy and relaxed. The staff displayed a caring nurturing approach towards the children and it was evident that children were secure within the environment."

Food - "The food offered is balanced and nutritious and is providing children with a variety of fruit and vegetables. The standard of the food was observed to be excellent with children provided with freshly prepared food that was wholesome and nutritious."

Conclusions - "The staff throughout the Nursery demonstrated a caring and nurturing approach and it was evident they were each enjoying their caring role... Staff consistently demonstrated an awareness of the individual needs of the children present... Staff valued the children and spent time listening to and encouraging them throughout the day... · Observations made of the children concluded that they were happy and relaxed in their play. Children were aware of the routines and it was evident that they were secure within the environment."
